Chamber Reaming
I'm looking for some thoughts on reaming out a .45-70 to .45-90? Can this be done effectively in one's own shop or is a gunsmith required? The reason I'm asking is that I would like to convert an 1885 highwall into the .45-90. Since the Creedmoors are no longer available, I can either rechamber the current barrel or just put another barrel on it. Thanks in advance for any direction.
