Rick,

I'm guessing that's a side hammer shotgun burning black in brass cases? I can't imagine you'd use any other combination. :) :)

Nope! Don't have any BP shotguns! That is an 870 Remington Super Mag 3 1/2" job! Been shooting an 870 for 50 years and ain't gonna change now!! :D

Remington, huh? Must be one of those model (1)870 rollers. I've seen a couple 16 gauge rollers, but I think they were Huskies. 'Tho that 3-12" case must be a bit of a squeeze to get over the hammer. :D :D

Nice turkey. How's the weather in Loosiana? I think we just melted our last snowfall up here on the tundra. It may get warm enough this weekend for me to get out to the garage to cast some bullets for my side hammers. Can't say that they will be loaded in those awesome 3-1/2" cases like yours; mine max out at 2.4", some only 2.1" long.

cheers, Bruce

Bruce.....corn is up and growing; recently fertilized all here and got a good rain the next day! Pretty soon I'll be surrounded by a wall of the stuff; shooting down the alleyway!! Been cool; one year we can say it didn't go from freezing to hellacious damn hot...all in the same day!! :D :P

I'd really like to have one of the old hammer BP shotguns but they're mighty hard to find! :?
