I left on a nice motorcycle trip a few weeks ago and, of course, I got a call from the LGS and my long-awaited Shiloh Sharps in .45-70. They had some fun with me by mocking up a suppressor and saying I owed them for threading the octagon barrel. Good fun! Anyway, I got home and mounted the Montana Vintage Arms scope. I've been over this thing with the proverbial fine-tooth comb and can find no flaws.
Fit, finish & checkering is simply superb and it was well worth the wait! I thank all at Shiloh Sharps for their craftsmanship. Now, I just need to get to the range and try to zero it in.
Absolute work of art as they always are. The striking wood, polished barrel, fire blueing against the bone case hardening. Just magic. Congratulations indeed. Makes me want to order another. ... but then I always want to order another
