off topic question

Post by Yosemite Sam »

Howdy all, sorry to interrupt the Shiloh Sharps flow-- I love it and have learned a ton over the years, thanks to all---
but I am looking for .32-20 wcf brass. If anyone happens to have some and is not currently using it, I'd be interested in talking to you.

thanks

Sure is tough to find! In the few years since I even learned what a 32-20 was, I've not seen starline make any run of that brass. I know I'd order 1k pieces if they ever finally do.

Looks like you pay a little more for the Starline but it is available.

I may be wrong (probably am), but what I've observed about Starline ever since Covid is that they wait until they near their optimum run quantity of a case and change their website to "backorder ok"... then quickly fill up orders to that minimum run quantity and begin their run. Keeping a watch on their website whenever you're thinking of ordering, or simply want to increase your stock is de' rigor! If you wait until someone sez, I received my (whatever), you're probably too late. I've seen this with 45Colt, .44-40, C45S, .38-55 and 45-70. Now, if only I can get them to make .32-40! Oh yea, if you think you need 500, order a 1,000! It'll keep you out of hands of the scalpers on GB. As long as ABC News doesn't confuse empty brass with loaded ammo, I'm safe from criticism!

I just sold 500 pieces shipped for $325.00 new Starline on Cast Bullets web site. Took about 1 hr. and they were sold, not surprised seeing what GoneBroke sellers were getting.

OK. They aren't going anywhere. I have 4 32-20 rifles that I can use them in if I ecer run out of the brass I've been using.
