ArmyBrat, I know what you mean. My dad and I called a grey fox in late in the evening on the last day of squirrel season and after the squirels went to sleep, we traded guns. He had my .22 and i had his .250 Savage and before my rabbit call even finished the 2nd time a grey fox came running towards us like he hadnt eaten for a week. My dad shot him in the chest when he closed in about 20 yds and he ddnt stop until about 15 yards and then POW that fireball .250 dropped him in his tracks and left a fist-sized exit hole.

I like a .204 ruger for shooting groundhogs around here. If you sight in in 1 in high at 100 yds it shoots straight out to about 300... the only problem is wind with such a light bullet bu tit sure turns their heads to jelly! :lol:
