Does anyone have a favorite load for a 45-100 Shiloh Sharps with a 32" barrel? Powder? Bullet? etc. For long range match. :?:

CCIBR2 primer with newsprint wad over primer, 100 grains of Goex cartridge droptubed then compressed .400, .030 LPDE wad, newsprint wad, Paul Jones 45001 540 grain bullet cast 30-1 lubed with Black Magic Lube seated with no exposed grease grooves. Muzzle velocity is 1305 feet per second. Shoots very clean. - Mike

Staline Brass, Remington 9 1/2 large rifle primer. 86grs. Swiss 1Fg, 540gr Paul Jones creedmore, Bullet is seated so that there is one grease groove exposed with very little compression. OAL with bullet is 3.5 in. I also use a .030 veg. fiber wad and the load has a 3.8sd with a velocity of 1286. It shoots very well for me and is clean burning. Al
