New 1000 yard facility with 4000 sqr ft lodge....

Post by deerhuntsheatmeup »

Guys and gals, I have the info on a new NRA insured range under construction in East Central Miss. The info I have says it will consist of several ranges including 1000 yard rifle range. I have phone numbers and other info available. If you would like info, please PM me and I will give it to you. Everyone in MS, LA, East TX, and SE ARK should support the construction of such a facility, especially after we hear of ranges fighting for survival all over the country. It will be in a area close to casinoes, good hunting ground, and amongst the finest folks in the world.! FWIW, David Barfield

Heatedhunter,

Now this is a coincidence. We have a Mississippi up here in Minnesota too. Don't that beat all? Smokin

The range is North of Vicksburg near a little town called Redwood. The club is collecting dues but there has not been a meeting of the club members yet. As such, we can't relate what work needs to be performed and how things are being set up. There should be a meeting soon and the club is interested in supoporting the particular needs of the BPCR shooter. More info to follow....

Hey David:

Did ya go to Pascagoula today? I was goin' and was gonna offer to spot for ya but I ended up havin' to have some outpatient back work done. Regretfully I am at home surfin' instead of shootin'. Drop us an update and let us know how it went.

Hey nohorse

How bout this new range? How far north of Vicksburg?

You fellows "load up" some weekend and drive over and see me as I kinda feel like the "lonely Maytag Repair Man" with no shooting buddies! The Rdnck had the good sense to move to Texas...and I'm lonely here with a Longrange Range!! We can shoot ever how far ya wanna stretch yo barrel...for sure! I'm 4.2 miles south of Exit 132 which is west of the Rayville exit bout 5 miles! Look for the smoke!!

Sharpsman, Thanks for the invite, we will try to come over soon.

Nohorse, Yes I went to Goula, Wind to excess, Mirage so bad you couldn't see the bullet strikes on the ram line. Still a good day for shootin'. Enjoyed seeing all the guys again.

Smokin, The Mississippi you have up there is just a stream, you should see what it has grown into right now. It is up! Hop in your moose skin canoe and start paddlin' and I will pick you up about 15 minutes from the new range just over the REagle Lake levee. LOL
