I have acquired and old single shot rifle that was manufactured by William Moore and Grey it has 4055 on the trigger guard and a paten number on the left side the bore very nice and is .410" and it has been rechambered to rem .41 mag and stamped so on the barrel. Is there anyone on this site that has any information about these old English guns? I emailed WMG and they told me that is was likely built between 1880 and 1896 but were unable to give me any more info. It is in very nice condition and I have fired it several times with an RCBS 40-300-CSA bullet and 20 grains of 1 1/2 Swiss it shoots pretty good for a 130 year old rifle.

Thanks
