I have a take off 45/70 barrel I'm selling. A potential buyer wanting to know what twist rate. I know I could do it myself but healing from surgery prevents it. The rifle was started 9/20/2019 and shipped 3/23/2020. Just checking what they were shipping then. Thanks Doc

16 twist could have been ordered.
I bet Shiloh would tell you for that S/N if you asked them.
Or you could measure it.

What Aviator wrote.

Maybe, what they intend to do with the rifle should figure into the importance of the inquiry.
Assuming an 1874 Model Shiloh and they don't plan to shoot past 500 meters the difference between 16 & 18 twist may prove inconsequential.

However, you can also measure the twist as a follow up confirmation which is described several places on this forum.

I just called Shiloh yesterday about the same question and topic. Their 45-70 s have a 1-18 twist. I guess could have been special ordered but that is the standard. They will research your serial number and send you a factory letter on all the gun specs and information. That will cost you $50. Which isn’t bad at all.
