Tang sight, rear sight, globe or blade front?

Post by Silverman »

Can a rear sight be used (successfully) with a globe front sight?
Can a MVA tang sight be used (successfully) with a front blade sight?
I just want to know if I can have it all and use a rear sight for shorter distances and the tang sight for longer distances. Will this work? I realize that the globe front sight may be a bit higher and so that may not work.

Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks, Hope it's not a silly question.
