Live Cam...in Africa!

Post by RMulhern »

This is a link to a live African cam set up at a real waterhole showing whatever comes in to drink! All sorts of animals come here....and it helps to have your sound turned up! Click on Nkorho Stream....which is toward the bottom of a red corridor over on the left side of the page! There's an icon at bottom right side that you can click on to enlarge the view thereof! This camera runs constantly!

It' 'ain't' a stream; just a WATER HOLE! The people that put this up....for viewing call it a STREAMING VIDEO!! Meaning CONTINUOUS!!  That's the 'jargon' that these computer freaks use!!  :?

Dean, which cam has the zoom and pan features? Is it the live cam on the water hole? I was taking a gander at it this morning and their was something floating in the water bobing its head up and down and I couldnt make out what it was. A zoom would have been nice. Great sight sharpsman, I put that on my favs.

Kamotz.
This morning there were a bunch of antelope and baboons at the hole and when one or the other moved the camera shifted to the movement then refocused . it then zoomed out and in 4 or 5 times. ..Dean

Sharpsman,

Tuned in last night - thunderstorm and crickets. Tuned in just now - thunderstorm and crickets. :? Don't let 'em fool ya, while they say it's a stream, I think the puddle is actually a loop.

I have the same problem hunting as I do looking at this live cam, I NEVER SEE A DARN THING. I know animals come to this watering hole but just like my deer season, I look and look but never see anything. Just my typical luck

Just on a hunch, I hooked up my old 'puter with dial up connection.
All I got was a picture of a mud hole!!!!!
BUT..... with WI FI I got lots of game moving around. I might add, both 'puters were on at the same time
Could it possibly be that dial up is not good enough?

Just checked it. looks like someone or something bumped it. It is pointing at the ground now, no water hole. Either that or it just dried up like the ones here in Texas.
