DESCRIPTION OF RIFLE

This special drawing will be done once a year.  The rifle is a Montana Roughrider, 45/70 caliber with a 30” full heavy octagon barrel.  The custom features on this rifle; Extra Fancy wood, AA finish, Pack Hardened finish, Brass Escutcheons, Polished Barrel, Polished Blackened Screws, Pewter Tip, Traditional Steel Butt-plate.  The serial number on this rifle is very special and unique.  It will start with USA 1 which will be inlayed in gold.  On the lock plate in gold inlay will be “Salute Our Military 2008”.  This rifle will be equipped with a MVA #112 front globe and a MR soule.  The person who wins this rifle will have his name, rank, rate and what military branch you belong to engraved on a metal plate and then in-letted into the butt-stock.  Along with this rifle will be a factory letter.  The gold inlay of the serial number and lock plate engraving will be done consecutively each year.   

RULES AND REQUIREMENTS

  1.  We will start accepting entries November 1st, 2007 and the drawing will take place on 9-11, of each year. Upon completion of each drawing all names will be discarded and we will begin accepting entries again on November 1st of each year.
  2.  You MUST be on Full Time Active Duty between November 1st of the year prior to the drawing to
    September 11th of the year of the drawing. For example, for the September 11, 2008 drawing, you
    must be on full time active duty from November 1st, 2007 thru September 11, 2008.
  3.  If you are a reservist who has been pulled to Active Duty, You MUST have no Less than 6 straight
    months of Active duty during the applicable year, and then you qualify to enter.
  4.  If you were discharged (honorably) during the annual period of the drawing you still may enter.
  5.  You may only enter this drawing one time per each year. If you enter twice, your name will still only
    be in the drawing one time.
  6.  When the name has been drawn on 9-11, verification of your Military Service WILL BE REQUIRED.
    You will be asked to either show us a DD-214 if you have been discharged, so that we may verify your
    active duty dates. If you are still on active duty, we will ask that you show a copy of your Military I.D.
  7.  If something happens to you during your time of service and your name is drawn, the rifle will then
    go to your beneficiary that you have listed on your drawing entry form.
  8.  You will be responsible to find a FFL (gun dealer) in your area who will receive shipment of your rifle.

Please remember that Shiloh Rifle will verify active duty status and has the right to refuse delivery to the recipient drawn if he/she does not meet the requirements above and we will re-draw.
