I am using the Globe with post. You need to have a good eye to shoot anything at that distance. It is 45-70 with 405 grain cast bullet...

Load must have been 1 MOA (minute of antelope) like you said!! I wonder if the turkey and this antelope are the first animals collected with a Shiloh 77 Sharps?

I'm putting in for permits next year and I will bring my 77 as well.

Just curious, what kind of aperture you use in your front sight when hunting?

I use a heavy post. You have to have decent light and better than average eyes though. At 209 yards, that sight will cover a bunch of the antelope, you need to be able to hold steady and line everything up just right. The shot is almost the trophy when you use these old guns...
