Shiloh's are works of art for sure! That being said, I'm the kind of guy who isn't afraid to use mine. I don't have a '77 yet but when I do get one; I plan on using it just like you've been doing. Keep up the good work!

I have seen 4 of them out in competition now.
All of them look really nice and seem to shoot very well too.

Absolutely bought it to shoot it, just has not arrived yet! The Shiloh gang are slaving away on it as we speak.
I don’t like wall hangers or safe queens and as a general rule a firearm does not really feel like it is “mine” until we spend some time hunting. That being said mine will not be completed until the end of the year so will have to satisfy myself with range time, for now!
Can you share some details on your turkey hunt (how appropriate since it’s turkey day!). Use a blind or just setting by something to breakup your outline? Call em in close or pick em off at some distance?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Cheers!

Why have one if you are not going to shoot it?

Unlike you I guess, I have had lots of people look at my 1877 and ask me if I’m going to shoot it. Then I haven’t seen anyone posting anything about shooting theirs...
