Sticks only, prone and sitting, any backrest for the main category. but if someone is working on a load and shooting off a bench , go ahead and post it. We can always make a category for benchrest . Just specify how you shot it.
We'll separate scope and irons too.

They have a monthly postal match going on at the muzzle loading forum were they change the target every month that is fun shoot.

You have a link to their forum. Be nice to see how they are running it.
Changing distances each month would be a good idea. Or maybe a long and a short each month.

I found it.
Just to be clear, Unlike most postals, Im not mailing out targets All you have to do is take a picture of yours and post it. Use a gong, paper , refrigerator door, end of your gas tank !!, whatever, as long as you have a center marked. and measure the shots from there.

Hey Mark I will make the trip over if you will let me use your truck door for my target  I will even use my .50 to make a bigger hole so I can see it

HaHa !! No I didn't !! May work out that way mathematically, but not in my world.
( and its multiply cause we are adding inches from center) Lower the score the better.

Gonna go test a PP load for my daughter this afternoon at 800. Maybe I can get her weaned off those girly bullets if it shoots well.

Dang thing won't let me edit.
Worst score one can get if he misses the target with every shot is 250, (10 shots X 25") the best score one can get is if he hit the little center dot every time is a zero. (10 shots times 0")

900 yard target (2).jpg
I gather you are talking something like this?
Shot this with my Pedersoli Gibbs muzzleloader in .45 cal. 1st attempt at this distance with it. ( 900 yards )
Load was 530gr cast bullet, 20:1 (Buffalo Arms mold) 106gr 1.5 Swiss .120"veg wad Remington No.11 cap.
Shot prone using jacket and sling.
Target is standard for long range muzzle loading competition.
48" aiming mark, 14.4" V-bull, 24"bull.

Well this is downright ugly .
Started out good. got all my sighters on target once I hit metal.
12-23-18 40-65 800 yd.jpg
12-23-18 800 yd 40-65.jpg

3.5" + 11.5" + 14.5" + 21.5" + 22" + 25" + 25" + 25" + 25" +25" = 198

Don't get much easier to beat than that.

Daughter has a cold so I let her spot from the pickup. Somehow I misread shot 2 and dialed it off target. finally figured it out after 2 shots.(shot 4)
Shot 5 was the only thing I did right all day.
But then my load went south. wiped the bore with a dry patch after shot 6 and 9.
Evidently I'm gonna have to wipe after every shot at this temperature

Rifle Browning 40-65
.404 KAL Money bullet patched to .410.
37 gr Blackhorn 209
GM215M primer
Temp 34 deg

Robert (COBPTR) Said he could host all the pictures on his BPTRA sight so we would have one montage of all the entries when we are done, so if you have problems loading your picture here get ahold of him.
Still please post your results here.
This site let's you post your pics directly from your computer so even computer illiterate people like me can do it.
