I agree Del, I hate to be so negative, but this whole thing really irritates me. They are replacing a good, proven, cost effective system with a POS. I am pretty sure I won't be complying. I am not sure it would be too bad if one had internet service at the range, but none of the ranges I shoot at have any kind of cell service, let alone internet.

Remember you don't have to shoot into a higher class, you can just put yourself in it. So if track your own scores and you think you want to be in master class, you can just sign up for master. The problem is you cannot go down so an A or B class shooter may end up having to qualify by shooting in master class and then being placed in whatever class your score falls in. No big deal, but definitely not as nice as showing up already classed.

I am going to print some of our own books and offer them for sale with the proceeds to benefit our range. Shooters can use them to track their own scores and other match directors can choose to use their records for classification if someone shoots at another match. If they choose not too that's ok too. It will have pages for bpcr silhouette, mid range, long range, gong matches, and 22 matches, as well as a couple of pages for notes and sight settings. I am sure they will be useful for the group of shooters that shoot in our region. It's getting so there are more and more than shoot the local matches and have no desire to attend the nationals and this whole book thing just looks to me like another wedge being driven into the widening division....

take care, Cody

When they start charging that so called nominal fee for approved matches ,I will not get approved any more .We can jut shoot like we always have been with out NRA approval and no more computer work . Three of my shooters don't use computers so will have a tough time .
