which new mold?
.WEll, It's been a few weeks since I've ordered another new mold...so I'd better get going!
I have a Shiloh 74 in 40 70 SS a year old. .400/.408 bore
PP bullets are doing well, but I'd like to try a greaser too.
which bullet would you recommend?
I'm looking at the BA mold for the Money bullet. is there a better one?
408" 420 GRAIN "MONEY" BULLET MOULD, TAPERED 1ST BAND
$150.00

Hey Kenny, might be wrong but I believe Kirk only does 1 in 16 on 40's anymore. bobw

Kenny,
For your 16 twist, stay with a bullet about 1.325" long for best stability

Re: which new mold?
For a 1:16 twist you will probably like the BACO 409400m4. It shoots well in my shilohs in .40-65. I have one in 1:16 and a newer one in 1:14 twist. It will want to be cast in 16:1

The 408395 C1 shoots well if a person is into greaser's in a 40

Re: which new mold?
I agree with Gunlaker. The Kidwell money bullet (BACO 409400m4, cut for 0.408" diameter) does very well in my Shiloh .40-65 with 1:16 twist. It likes to be pushed fast-my load gives ~1350 fps.
