Hi All,
I always wanted to create 3d CAD models of my 1874 Hartford sharps. After 5 months I finally finished all the CAD modeling down to the last screw. Now working on the drawings.
Best,
Eric

Eric, those are cool. What program do you use. I use a program called SDS-2 by Design Data.
"keep adding powder til it bloodies your nose and blacks your eyes, then back it off bout 5 grains."

I use a CAD program called SolidWorks. It’s the 2017 version. Ha ha! Kenny, just let me measure your head with some dial calipers and I’ll see what I can do!

Re: 1874 Hartford CAD models
The most challenging component to model up was probably the hammer. Took me 3 weeks to get a decent looking one. It’s easy to create simple shapes but anything with non-linear curves and flowing lines is more difficult.
