I never seen Bertram brass in the .44-77 caliber listed. When I got my .44-2-5/8 BN Bell 3-1/4" .44 basic was still available and Huntington offered their HDS brass, I think it was Bell with the HDS head stamp, but the rim thickness was as thick as .083" on some and I needed to thin it to .078" to fit my Shiloh this took the head stamp off on some of the cases but it made it good for using pistol primers for a proper fit and the primer pockets could be deepened again for rifle primers. The heads were thick enough so this was no problem.
What the links above are using for cases I don't have a clue, but I have a feeling it could be Jamison or .348 Win. If I would order some of that ammo I would ask what the rim thickness is and I would stay away from anything less than .078" if you have a Shiloh.

Thanks to a member I will soon have a .44-77 Shiloh that would have been right at home on the Buffalo hunting grounds in the 1870s

Brent & Don

Starline has 50-90 = 50 2 1/2 and 348 brass in stock. Both are pricey but available.

Then it is a green light, if ever there was. Buy the brass immediately.

I have used this in my Shiloh 44-77, fits my original Rolling Block 44S, and it works in a friends original 43 Spanish Rolling Block.
All three fire form differently from the original shape but no problem with the rim thickness in any of them.

FWIW Jamison 43 Spanish rims are way too thick for my 44-77 Shiloh. They work fine in an original Roller.

What's the base diameter of the .50-110 win brass?
