Found A Nice 1866 SRC

Post by Kirk Stovall »

I have been chasing a few Winchesters around for several years and finally got one. He has some nice old stuff, but we haven't been able to complete a deal other than this 1866. It was made in 1885 and is in real good condition...

Wow Kirk! That is really nice!
I hope your not going to use smokless in it like the 76 a few long years ago.

Mike is always condescending if nothing else. We did get some rounds through the gun, we need more time to figure it all out before I take it elk hunting this fall...

If Kevin Costner can drop a Buff with a Henry I'm sure you can drop a Bull Elk with a "Improved Henry". Let's see, how many rounds does that magazine hold?

Woody

I take it is a late model centerfire .44? Still one that I've wanted for a long time.

I did, but didn't want to say anything for fear that he didn't know and thought it was Bullseye. I kept looking for the staked out Angus too.
