Hey Woody

Post by CO »

I’m in Lexington at the horse park. Left home yesterday morning and should be in Friendship tomorrow afternoon. I’ve only replaced two tires, so far. Have you beaten that this year?

You are in the lead, but I haven't left yet. It's Thursday morning and I'll be leaving as soon as Lois finishes her nights rest. We'll see what the day brings. I do have a full 75 miles to cover incident free.

Billing a lead. Hit a pot hole on I 75 and torn the rear axle from 5th wheel.
Had to leave it in Knoxville at Camping World
After waiting 2.5 hours Roadside Assistance did not come. Kevin, Hubbard, and Charlie came back. We jacked it up and pulled axle back in place Tied to front axle with tie down strap and made it 15 miles to Camping World
911 did not respond in the 2.5 hours either

Started getting ready for the upcoming Raton trip. Bought four new tires for the truck. First class only. Plan on taking three days driving to get there, but have four before I "have" to be there, just in case. The .22 ammo is set aside. Both lever guns are clean and double checked. Ammo is loaded for both. Brass, bullets, and wads, are prepped and ready for final assembly for the two BPCR rifles I'm bringing. Lois is going down her checklist and stocking up the trailer. I just might be ready by the 23rd of June, to start this years trip.
