Penny front sight
I can’t seem to locate the thread about it so what is the best penny to use for a front sight? What design do you use (shape, height, etc)?
Real gun powder is black.

Re: Penny front sight
First indians were copper/nickel. Near all other pennies including the later Indians were copper, tin, zinc alloy. IN 1962-82 the composition changed to copper/zinc and no tin so any of those dates should work.
