Hey Smoke. That mould has cast probably 40,000 plus bullets. Still shoots better than me. It's what I shot in Georgia last month when you beat me by six points, but I beat 45 ish other shooters. Hah!!!!

Brian,

That's why I used a rule instead of a caliper. I'm only done for this month.

Other than my hold is improving, wasn't real happy with any of my loads I shot for this match, so Decided I'm going back to the drawing board and work up new loads. Never did have one for the 45 2 7/8 and the 108 gr was just a swag.
Had a few brass i wanted to get on the same loading sequence as the rest so I took three loads out to ladder test.
by the time I got there it was pretty windy but wanted to shoot them up anyway.

Only the 105 gr looks promising so far.
Not sure why, but this rifle shoots a lot of pairs.
doubt I could keep this vertical up for 10 shots, but 5 did real well.
0.8" vertical, 3 3/8 horizontal

Four of those look real good.

I'll be at the range most of the day tomorrow. We always have a New Years Day match of somekind. I'll be shooting a black gun in the match, but should have several hours prior to do a test if the wind finally dies. Been very windy for the last two days. What are the rules and games, (.22 etc.), for next month?

Looks like this one is in the books unless someone has a late entry.
Thanks to the following shooters:
Aviator
Beltfed
DAG45-70
Distant Thunder
Ian45662
John Bly
Kurt
SFogler
TAA
Woody
For participating and all those that added color commentary to keep the match interesting.

Hopefully we will have lots of shooting days and more participants this next time.

Distant Thunder shooting a PP bullet edged out Aviator shooting a GG bullet by a mere .353 " in the scope class and ian44662 also shooting a PP bullet edged out DAG45-70 shooting a GG bullet by .250 in the iron sight class. All were shooting Swiss powder.
Good shooting guys !1
