When I ordered over the phone last week, I asked the Lady when the next issue was being sent, she said, let me look, pretty soon she said the 1st of the year. I am assuming that would be the "winter issue"? Be interesting to see how this plays out.

As long as Garbe is involved with the magazine, it will remain the best of its kind out there, no matter whether you get it off the rack or by mail.

I have been a subscriber for a long time and enjoy the magazine. As someone mentioned earlier I think the postman likes the magazine too. Before they used the plastic bag cover they use to use a white paper cover that was sealed with a white tap or two. When I got my magazine those tabs were always broken. BPCN and Wooden Boat were the magazines I almost always received "as read" with broken tabs.
