Before you go wild and alter all of your cases to pistol primer, you might want to make sure your firing pin does not pierce them. Old, original firing pins quite often will pierce the slightly thinner material of pistol primers. There can be several reasons for this, such as "windage" around the firing pin and the shape of the nose of the pin. I like Nuclearcricket's method. I've struggled with the same issue and his method solves those issues.
