Re: 1877
But, not that I am complaining, at $1 in 1875 = $24 in 2020 that Creedmore rifle would have been the equivalent of ($112 x 24 =) $2688. While today's Shiloh with the same options would come in at $4457 + 11% = $4947 (#1, polished, checkered, xtra fancy, #112, #107). Or, about twice as much. I am really surprised that since 1994 MVA's prices have virtually not changed while Shiloh has doubled. And, I agree, Shiloh quality is top notch. I was looking to get a CPA but Shiloh's are less expensive and more in my wheelhouse.

HI Mike
I have 4 Shilohs 3 in 45/70 one 40/65. They are excellent rifles.
I look forward to enjoying this rifle as i enjoy the other ones.
I also plan on competing with it in the 200yd frostbite contest
I also hope Art R. competes in the 200yd as he is an excellent shooter
and his 1877 cal 40/50 shoots lights out ;o)

I just got my Shiloh 1874 45-100 today and I'm going to shoot it in the frostbite contest as soon as I can get some loads worked up. Looking forward to seeing how your does. Shilohs are unquestionably superb rifles. Aviator just shot a 2.5" group with his - Yikes!
