Cant imagine you would have that bad of a flyer !!
Might put it on the 100 yd board anyway.

Just come out and bring a chain. Soon as I get all the sagebrush pulled you can shoot 100 to 1000 plus !!!

Brian,

This bug is getting serious here in Illinois. It's mostly East of us but a couple are in the hospital now, so it's getting close. I'm not going your way or anywhere else till it's over. I don't want to spread it if by chance I been infected. I can shoot in my yard and we have enough stuff in the freezer to last us and Rabbits and Squirrels running in the yard as well as deer if the need comes :)

It sure would be nice to run some at long range to see if they will hold up for your MT 1000 if things clear up intimate.

I hear you Kurt.
Interestingly, went to The Miles City Walmart couple days ago on my way home. Very few cars in the parking lot.
automatic Door going in, Grabbed a handwipe on my way in, grabbed a couple items, self checked out and wiped my hands going out.

Today I stopped by the local grocery store for a couple items. Had to open the door going in, no hand wipes, took the items to a checker that stood 2 feet from me. everything was touched by both of us.

Wal mart was way safer, but luckily there are no cases east of Billings --- Yet

Staying home is probably the only way to avoid it but thats impossible for some of us.

I'm surrounded. Worse to the North. Our county has three cases so far. I fully expect to see a lot more. I did have to go to the hardware store today. In and out and have the wipes in the truck. I worked on my backstop yesterday and shot some 50 yard offhand chickens. Only 7 of 20. They were pretty safe. We have cancelled all of local matches til who knows and we cancelled the Friendship matches for April so far. I'm hunkered down.

Stay safe,

About the same here. I've four guns that need load development and haven't gotten out to do it yet although it's still getting down in single digits at night but warms up to about 40 in the day time.
My glass business is on the essential services list so I have work and am blessed about that. Currently building an military F class Mauser match rifle that is quite interesting. It got a new bolt handle and was re-chambered in .308 match. Needs glass bedding yet and a bit of stock work to be finished.

Brian, As you know we are very familiar with the Walmart in MC. We had to do some shopping at our Coop the other day, It is a new store and about one third the size of the grocery section in that Walmart. There were a few cars in the lot, Spot and I got out to go in the store. We got about 20' from the door when we were stopped. Only one family member allowed, only 10 customers in the store at a time, line up in the parking lot where the cones are set at the correct distance apart and wait. Upon entry there was a table with hand sanitizer (mandatory) and while you were doing that they asked about four questions. There was a waiting shopping cart that they had sanitized. When you are done and arrive at the checkout you wait until the person ahead of you leaves then a worker sanitizes the conveyor belt all the way around. You load you groceries and there is a 4' X 8' sheet of plexi mounted between you and the cashier who has cleaned her hands before she touched your groceries. She bags them and you pay with credit or debit, no cash accepted. The Credit machine is mounted to the plexi. You sanitize your hands again and leave the store. It's been five days now and no symptoms so I might be OK. Everybody please take care.

Yea some are starting to wake up. I forgot to mention the two people before me payed cash at the local store .

I'm one of the worst around for not caring about germs.
That utube video of george carlin on germs is probably the epitome of many of us on here !!
Might pay better attention to this one tho. Don't need it hitting us right at the start of spray season even if we did survive.

The .22 chickens keep multiplying despite my best efforts. Just went out and put 20 of my best shots into the gathering flock. Hit 4 of the first ten, then 6 of the next ten.

I sure miss the farm in Michigan in that respect Woody,I used to shoot my 30-06 Springfield from the back step. Course I pee'd in moms flower bed from the same step! Ah,those were good times, growing up on the farm!
I remember one of the oddest occurrences happening with that O6. I took a bead on (it had a scope) a barn sparrow sitting a fence ,squeezed it off, a poof of feathers then just two legs left, still standing upright gripping the top wire.

I'm only on five acres, and surrounded by equally small plots. I've built a four by four steel bullet trap into the dam of my pond. Noise is not the issue. I'm responsible for every round fired, so obviously, I'm very careful with what shooting I do at my house. I can stretch to 165 yards. When I lived in Colorado, it was a different story. I do have a neighbor that last week was practicing with something full auto. I think I know who it was, and if so, he is a LEO. I recall both in Colorado and here in Indiana, when I was still working, dispatch would have a call about someone shooting full auto. Our response was "So what, it's not illegal?" I do try to limit the big boomers at my place, just to be kind to my neighbors, but my local range is in effect closed for the present.

The good news ---- I got out to shoot
the bad news----Cant get rid of that 4" vertical

dropped to 58 gr OE 1.5 and removed the forearm
Thought I was on to something after 2 shots !!!! NO such luck !!

I did try an antimony alloy the other day that resulted in a
huge shotgun pattern, so went back to 12.5-1

might try 16-1 to see if I get an improvement.

Went out again today to reduce the chicken population locally. I managed 9 of 20 tonight. They will be back again tomorrow.

Tough chickens! They need some more lead in their diet to soften em up some. Ours keep loosing their feet from to much lead in their diet ! Course getting whacked at 50meters instead of 200 with 500 grain slugs isn't helping anything.
