SPRING SCORECARD MATCH

Post by semtav »

Ok, lets try another one.
Only real rule is, you have to post a picture of your target and setup.
Still have the same categories as the postals, plus what ever else is posted.
If you can only shoot 100 yds or 1000 yds, or are shooting 5 round test loads and get a one holer,
go ahead and post it we'll find a category for it.
If you have a great 5 shot group and want to stop and go measure it, then continue on to see what a 10 shot will wind up thats ok too.
May end the end of April unless we don't have a lot of entries, then it may end the end of June.

Does it have to be on paper? I was knocking out some pretty decent groups while forming 45-110 brass at 900 yds. on steel yesterday.

Way too windy to shoot yesterday, (40-60 mph winds) so I spent the day sorting hulls and reloading for the next Long Range Match.
Now to figure out what to load for this match if the wind ever goes down again.

Our winds are supposed to really jump tomorrow, but Friday - might just be able to gimp down to the range and hang a target. Maybe.

had my knee scoped yesterday. I'm walking on it today, but I think the ice and mud on the range might not be optimal right now. But by Friday? I expect to be that mobile.

Man Brian, looking at all those hulls maybe you should borrow my Ponsness Warren 800 and get them filled. :D
I haven't shot trap since the mid 90's and I was moving some stuff and picked up a bag of 7-1/2 shot and they poured out of the bag like water :D mice chewed a hole. You have any need for AA hulls? I can bring them next trip out.

I'll take them.

Still shoot skeet a couple a time a month. Bring them to Friendship. We do expect to see you there this year.

I was hoping to participate in the last postal match but it never worked out. I'm just getting started and it was either too cold, too windy, too snowy, too muddy, or I was too busy. Anyway it was always too something er other. So, thanks for doing another one and I'll hopefully send something in. Looks like fun. Maybe then a match sometime, somewhere.
Regards to all,

I just threw a bunch in the garbage a while back when I moved my moleden in the basement up stairs but there are more in the shed.
Out club has a lot of three gun matches and boxes of once fired AA hulls end up by the trash cans.

Saturday is supposed to be really nice here too. We're trying to get some early field work done before the next little storm so no time on Saturday for shooting. This work is usually done in the fall but the weather didn't allow that to happen so its catch up time.
