Brian,
The range is locked down and a stay home order around here so I shot here at my front yard home range. It's only 136 yards if I back the bench up a little more :)
I used the CPA .22 with the B-5 MVA scope and I ran a box of Norma match through the Neal Waltz die to give them a flat point. and I shot some at a self resetting pig iron for some off hand practice. Sure felt good to get out and put holes through the paper again. One left the barrel before I wanted it but thank you for the natural point of aim it didn't go far. The total is 1.609" but it might have been 1.203" for 10 shots. :)

Do you have some freebore in your chamber arnie ? those are seated a long ways out for a DD bullet.

Pretty windy by the time I got home today but shot anyway.
Only one that didn't vertical out too bad was the 40-65
Rest were just too big to record.

Wind was 15 gusting to 20 directly from behind.
Sure took care of my horizontal stringing on all 3 loads.

40-65
62 gr OE 1.5
BR-2 primers
KAL .404 PP Money Bullet

3 5/8" If I can come close to duplicating those last 4 shots, think I'm settled on my two guns for the summer.

Holes on the Right were from the 50-90's vertical stringing.

I have almost no freebore. Less than 0.050"
What you see "out of the case" is the Patch to Bore diameter body of the bullet
that all just slides in on to the lands snugly.
The 0.125" long "patch to Case I.D./groove diameter" base band is in the case.
Below are the two bullets. Left is the 1.4" 345 gr DDEPP Jim #371345E
Right is the 1.46" 360 gr DDEPP Jim # 371360E
You can look up the drawings on the BACO PP bullet molds list .
No, I do not have any financial interest in Baco molds...

bpcr shooter, you have that gun shooting well, but 106 grs of powder in a .38? I guess that might be enough :)

I can't keep track of who is what. 106 grs would be about exactly right for a 2.6.

its a 45-100 (2.6).

I loaded up 107, 108,109 and 110gr today. 110gr is right to the top of the case and I will get the same compression as the 106/ 3 wad stack. hopefully it will shoot well at 800yr tomorrow!!...…...fingers crossed!!
