Now...that's much better...I LOVE the blocking feature.. Woody...I hope you recover fast. You have the DNA of a honey badger.

I hope everyone stays covid free. I'm sure by the time most of us qualify for the vaccine , there will be plenty of time to have observed any side effects.

My Baby Sister has taken the vaccine. Jeanne sent her a message telling her we're watching her closely and if her ass turns inside out and starts talking to her..we won't take the vaccine !!

Everyone be safe.Merry Christmas.

One of the best I listen to daily is " Give Him 15" by Dutch Sheets. He has the gift of an Apostle but is in close contact with prophets like Chuck Pierce , Hank Kunneman and Lance Wallnau. These are not just spoken prophecy but also prophetic dreams which carry the same biblical weight.
His video is on day 46 I think it is and the dream is very encouraging to people who know and believe the prophetic to be real.
Another good and encouraging word that comes about every 3-4 days is Flash Point.

mdland..I suspect two accounts are in play here with ole varsity. I wouldn't spend too much time with any back and forth...unless you are as bored as she is. If you don't know how to block use the feature that says friend or foe..choose the foe and you'll not see anymore of ole varsity's incoherent ramblings.

Dang, Mike, that FOE things works great! I kind of hate to use it on someone, but in this case I think it's best. It would really be better to have an exchange of viewpoints but that just isn't possible with some people.

I hope you are right about this election thing, but there are lot of forces at work against believers as there always are. I do know if we just let it happen without speaking out against it then it damn sure will happen again and all will be lost.

It sounds like I will qualify for the next run being over 80. I will take the needle when it gets here.

Varsity,

I’ve been to the OC memorial. A rectangular reflecting pond and a chair for each victim surrounding it. The adjacent museum has an interesting chronology of events in it. Very quiet around the pond.

But you missed the point. The kid with the AR and “unspecified others along the way” is an eye dropper. Recent events such as statue toppling, burning small life long built businesses, horrific arson, destruction of Portland, Seattle, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Mpls., autonomous zones, and rampant destruction, along with organized resistance of the Marxist based BLM and Antifa.... those are Niagara Falls...and your crowd owns them.

You forgot one...Janet Reno and Billy Bob’s Waco disaster.

Done with ya.

Arguing for the sake of arguing is ignorance.

When someone is blinded by hatred, everything the hated person does is never recognized, leaving the door open to second guessing the efforts of others, which is almost as easy as being a “progressive” liberal.. No one is an expert on the China virus, much less politicians. We are all learning and should try to do our best to be positive and treat each other with respect, regardless of our political differences.

When someone hates Trump, they hate everyone who voted (2016) for him, which is a large chunk of our wonderful country.

Our culture has too many individuals who think constant, angry indignation is a moral virtue….it is not.
People are not perpetual victims. Those who love this country, especially after America did what it did to help ours and many other countries to spread the technology and devices to combat the virus, are going to have develop the resolve and commitment to suffer once again under a repressive government run by the Democrat Party, as was done 2008 through 2016. But we won’t see Republicans and conservatives looting, destroying, burning and killing to express their disappointment in the election results.
Constant, angry indignation? You guys wrote the book on that for eight years when Obama was President. You have just acknowledged it. What a bunch of pontificating hypocrites you are. You're already talking about a repressive government under Biden. Republicans Killing? No never. Let's go back to Oklahoma City and move on from there through Charlottesville to that little dick weed that killed two people with his AR after mommy brought him to the scene. Not to mention all the ones in between.
Dear varsity
I wasn't going to enter your personal hell, but I'd like to enlighten you for insinuating republicans were in some way responsible for the Oklahoma City Bombing. You are very wrong doing that and should be ashamed . I know. I was there. Minutes, less than 5, after the bomb detonated I ran to the building to make sure my wife Jeanne was safe. One very liberal co-worker went to SHIT and instantly had a breakdown telling me he could not handle all the dead bodies..he was and still is a flaming liberal blaming republicans for the world's woes. I watched another "tough guy" turn into jello saying ' We're gonna see dead folks we work with'...and he was one of the poser tough guys walking around in a wife beater t-shirt talking tough shit all the time. I did see some VERY heroic officers taking actions...republican and democrat..who knows. Those officers drug dead and mangled infants bodies out of the smoking rubble. One old partner who I have faced death with in a patrol car and while we worked undercover narcotics, is an atheist and has served democrats . He had the duty of identifying the dead and their body parts. He was and still is a good bud no matter what his voter card says and he still maintains there is no god. We have mutual respect for each other's beliefs and can rationally discuss them and still be LIFE LONG friends. I retired and went to work for Wes Lane, the DA that prosecuted Terry Nichols for the bombing. I was VERY capable then and was assigned as Wes Lane's body guard during that trial. Jeanne was also a very established court reporter and took testimony during that trial. I know a LOT about that bombing and the conspiracy, and can assure you it was NOT the republican's fault . I have investigated multiple conspiracies in my career that stretched from Mexico to Canada , so I know a thing or two about working them. On to bump stocks. Donald Trump called for the outlaw of bump stocks. I have never owned an AR type rifle and as capable as I am..STILL, with a pistol and shotgun, I don't know how to work an AR rifle..yep, Jeanne and I are republicans and will NEVER own an AR or Ak type rifle..but we will NEVER condone that they should be banned because of one crazy man's actions. Fertilizer, rental trucks, alcohol, tobacco and even Duck hunting guns are all capable of taking numerous lives. Fist and feet kill well over 500 people EVERY year. I will not be involved with a back and forth with you...I want to wish you a long and prosperous life...but please, don't place society's problems at the feet of of any one group unless you have facts.

A short footnote for all of us....

Varsity wrote....
Keep on playing the bogus ANTIFA and BLM card

If you are willing to believe BLM’s own website....
Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of Black Lives Matter proudly admitted she’s a radical, anti-white Marxist.

We actually do have an ideological frame,” Cullors said. “Myself and Alicia are particularly trained organizers — we are trained Marxists. We are super versed on ideological theories…”

So much for the ignorant “bogus BLM card”. If you donate to or support BLM you might want to rethink that perspective.

I’m guessing some of the products of our public education system don’t know who Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin or Joseph Stalin are...too bad. If you don’t it’s time to brush up on your history.

Sir...you are not worthy of a debate. You are misguided and way off base..and you have two accounts..don't you. You are not concerned about how to prevent death..unless it fits your agenda or ideals. I look forward to meeting you at a rifle match..but doubt you'll ever show at one . Good day..block is reintiated now.

Can we pause this day to contemplate what it means and why it is celebrated? Can we pause with the acrimonious name calling, the bitterness, and “useful idiot” rhetoric that has appeared in a couple of threads on this forum? Can we pause to remember why there is a Christ’s Mass what it means? It is a holiday - holy day - that commemorates the birth of a baby. Not a battle in which “we” killed more of them than “they” killed of us, or a national day where we sing “hooray for our side.” But the birth of a baby that would be for all of us, for all time; a baby that was born to save us from ourselves. The fact that there is a holiday set aside for a baby instead of a battle is reason enough to celebrate.

This baby was foretold centuries before in Persia by a Jewish captive named Daniel who had been appointed head of the scientist-astrologer-king makers of their day, the “electoral college” of Babylon, if you will. They were the Magi. The conjunction of three planets in the constellation “Pisces” which astronomers related to Israel occurred three times in that year. By that “star”, these Magi recognized that the birth of Daniel’s long foretold King of kings was imminent. They prepared, set off on a four month journey to Judea, the backward province of a hostile rival empire, and arrived to worship the King of kings, a baby greater than their own king. They paused in their all-important duties for their king and court to pay homage to a greater king they didn’t even know.

Popular this year is the story of the truce during WW I between the British and Germans on Christmas Eve 1914 on the Western Front. A pause that spread across the Western Front honoring a “holy day” to celebrate the birth of that baby. Songs were sung and gifts were exchanged between the warring sides in No-man’s Land that night.

The Magis paused from their duties to travel to a foreign country, at great personal risk, to honor a baby. Soldiers in a world war paused to honor the night that baby was born. Can we do the same? Can we be reminded by the ‘Christmas Star’ that was visible the last couple of nights? How about a pause to remember the baby that is the reason for the season and let’s at least pause to be civil to those we “bear arms” with. Merry Christmas to all my shooter friends and their families; may you have a blessed New Year.
