Paper patch shooters
Just trying to get a consensus of how short of your chamber you trim cases. Ex. My chamber is at 2.601" and I trim to 2.598.
I do get the occasional case that the case mouth is "curled" in though but, its not everyone, just thinking I should be trimming back more.
Thanks Matt

I leave all my brass .010 to .005 long.
Normal isn't coming back, but Jesus is.

You need a good chamber casting to get the proper chamber length .I like about .003 to .005 short ,no more .

Matt,
The brass that is curling over at the end of the chamber may be too soft.
The others are the same length and not curling over? Then don't trim shorter.
Keep on hav'n fun!

I don't resize because I use a DDPP, so I don't trim much, unless I get one that curls over. Im just wondering how much its affecting my bullets when this happens??

I don't trim often - maybe every 2-3 years, but I trim to 2.100" and my chamber seems to be 2.100+" though I have not cast it. If they grow much, they start to curl in on the front end and that's generally not good.

Re: Paper patch shooters
yes Brent, that's my problem!!! I usually trim .002-.003 short of chamber length to try and avoid that
