Case Lengthening Update

I recently finished lengthening Remington brass a total of 0.035” using the Tim Smith-Lyon’s swaging plug. It’s labor intensive but works if you only have a few cases to lengthen. Two annealing steps were required to lengthen that much. BTW, the total lengthening possible depends on the OD of the swaging plug, ID of the RCBS sizing die and the case wall thickness.
