Reloading 45-2 7/8

Post by sharps/shooter »

If I have a press that can reload 30-06 do I still need a bigger press for a 45-2 7/8??

Depends on the press I suppose. I use a RCBS rockchucker and a Redding t7

Sharps/Shooter Send me a PM and maybe I can be of some help. That caliber lends itself to lots of different facts. If you are going to be shooting a Shiloh, I can maybe help you with a pretty basic load that shoots well. I use a Lyman turret press.

If your press is not open enough for that 110 you might look into a C&H H press. It's a 3 station and I used if for loading the .45-120/3.25"

The big Lee cast iron press loads all I have, including a .404 Jeffery.

Ditto on the Lee Cast Iron press, I use it for everything from 40-65 to 45-110's.
