FWIW, I finally gave up. Set it up on the mill, dialed it in a ran a mill straight down through the barrel pivot bolt.
It was really rust welded in!! It was nearly paper thin and still held. Got an edge loose, a ran a very thin punch down along side. After that and some twisting, it finally came out.
Next problem, the extractor is rusted in. I hope it's a looser fit and will give up easier.

Well I for one think it's pretty great of you to spend the time and energy to get this gun back in order again. I'd really like to see some more pictures of your progress so I can learn about the little rifle. Hope you will line it, get it in shooting order and take pictures of the progress. It's sort of and biography of the rifles life and rebirth since it came to you. I love stories with happy endings!
