I ordered the MVA A scope with 8x with the Malcolm Silhouette mount about a two weeks ago. I should see it after the 20th of May.

Chris, just a little more info on the 23". I bought a Montana Roughrider in 45-70 off of Shilohs website the end of March. My first Shiloh in 45-70. Received it yesterday and shot it for the first time this evening. I pulled the scope off of my #3 45-110 and just for the heck of it I left the sight settings the same. It took only 4 shots to walk that rifle into a 36" plate at 900 yds. Says a whole bunch for the rifle and the scope.

Charlie,

Are you using the 7.2" or the 10.34" block spacing with that 23" scope?

TNX. Charlie.
I think I will clamp the rifle back in the mill and move one block out to 10.34" the 7.2 with the MVA Silhouette rear mount it's just too sensitive with the adjustments.
