Mike yes they are a blessing. But they grow up too fast.

Kurt, what a beautiful, well-armed family, including that Daisy Red Ryder lever action! My two 8-year old grandsons have compound bows, but I have a couple of 22 rifles to remedy that waiting for them. And lhey will learn to shoot with iron sights!

I'm pretty sure it's not legal for competition, but just shooting and plinking...it's might be a time saver.

Mike,

The two young's graduated to the 39 marlins and the low wall .22 since this picture was taken and they turned into a pair of hard holders.

Glen,

I see some powder coating bullets used at our range shot with smokeless hand guns and rifles but I don't think they would have any success with black, but I might be wrong. I really don't see the need using them myself.
I don't know if the powder has any abrasives in it or not. I would hesitate using it with the thousands of bullets I send down range yearly.

I got myself all excited about it once. Then I realized it was just another solution in search of a problem. Like wrapping bullets with teflon tape. What's the point?

I think my bud will have a range report this week on trying them in his 40-65. Might be interesting..I have an open mind these days.
I said I would NEVER shoot a paper patched bullet and here's a box Arnie sent me and I can't wait to try them.

I have learned not say the words " I never will...."
In the past I have said I NEVER WILL...
Have a computer
Use e-mail
Own a black plastic gun
Have a waist bigger than 32 inches
Hang out with 60 year old women
Make a Fritada

I remember not liking bald heads and guess what happened! God has such a great sense of humor dealing out poetic justice. Thought I was safe cause my Dad , Grand Dad and brother all had full heads of hair. Worst of it is the straggly hairs that don't have the good sense to die off like the rest did!
