Just curious what MVA scope did you get? I ordered an MVA A scope and mounts a little over a month ago and should be getting it any day now.

I have the MVA 5x B scope. Either one would have been just fine with me but, someone who purchased a scope from MVA last December wanted to sell it and I was more than happy to buy it. It looks like it has never been used. I took it out to the range this morning and whether it is the scope or the new Shiloh sharps or a combination of the two, I don’t know but, I shot really well today. Now, I know there are people in this group who can shoot a Cloverleaf with iron sites at 100 yards but, not me. I got on paper at 20 yards and once I got it fairly centered there I moved to 100 yards and the accuracy and pattern was very nice. I am interested in both hunting and target shooting (not competition), this scope or, the one you have coming, will work just fine.
Very pleased with my new gun and scope!

Beautiful rifle and scope, is that a shandard or AA finish on your wood?

Actually, I don’t know. Lol
This gun was going into Shiloh Sharps inventory and I purchased it before it got there. When the gun was described to me I was told semi-fancy wood. I never asked about the finish and the sales slip doesn’t say either. It looks very nice in person.
