Many of you that have been to the ranch for one of my Traditional Creedmoor matches have met my folks. My mom Irma passed yesterday afternoon, she had a long ongoing battle with Parkinson’s. And she did not pass from Covid 19. She was tested though and found negative.

My 5th Novel will be dedicated to her memory, and the many years she was a Ranch Housewife and mother.

Irma came from very tough stock, her grandfather homesteading on Boggy Creek just off the a Cheyenne River. Charles Richard Zerbst came to Wyoming in 1881 after 50 head of stolen horses and the two men who stole them.

My great grandfather shot and killed both men, and recovered his livelihood, he was a hard man, and decided to homestead there. My mother often likened me to being much like him, and I am damn proud of that comparison. He carried his colt until 1937, always. He died in the 50’s old and blind.

Damn, Kenny. I am so sorry to hear this. Mothers deserve a special place in Heaven and I am sure it exists. I have never had a day that I don't think of my mother and all the things she instilled in me. I am sure you will be no different. RIP, Mrs. Wasserburger..............

Sorry to hear this news Kenny. She was a super sweet woman. Wendy and I always enjoyed our visits with her. Unfortunately they were too few.
