Kurt, No need for Social Distancing on June 28, 2007 was there? That was the year before my first Shiloh Shoot in '08, '09 and '10. The give away was there was only one of your excellent shooting tables on the porch. I think the second one showed up in '08, in fact I think I helped you put it on the porch. Good memories my friend. It would be nice to do it again. You be well now.

Paul you're right. I build two of those benches for Kirk and myself around that time to work up loads when I made the trip.
I was going through the photo album and pulled this picture out. The beard is a little darker now

By chance do you know who these two are? I think they are from around your area some where that drift down over the border every year.

I do, I know them but I just can't think of their names right now. Sadly it looks like this will be the first time since 2005 that we won't be driftin' across the border. We know it's closed until June 21st and my guess is they'll keep bumping it a month at a time. Then there's the question of Travel Medical Insurance which we can't buy right now and our dollar went in the crapper big time. It would cost me $1.40 to buy a USD and that hurts. Still if they open the border I suspect we'll be hitching up the 'Gypsy Wagon' and giving it a go.

I think I've seen those mugs in the Post Office. Did you do a drive by the last time you were in Friendship. I know it's been a long time, but we have long memories.

Woody it's been at least 4 years since I blew through Friendship.

And so do I of a really great shoot with some great people. I still have the medals. I mounted those two to a nice piece of walnut and there they sit on our WE wall. You know when I started this game and started picking up a trophy or two along the way to me they were a sign of achievement, success. Over the years that's changed a lot. Now they are memories, memories of a time in Friendship or Atlanta, Pala, Raton. Butte, Missoula, Forsyth, Baker, Boise, Perry, Alliance, Two Hills, Bethune, Sacramento, Vale, Prince Albert, Ekalaka, Donalda, Yuma, Phoenix, Carpenter. And now because of this virus I'm not going to get to be with all those friends we've made along the way. Piss me off.
