Meacham rifle

Post by VectorMan »

Does anyone have any information on Meacham rifles actions?
I’ve seen where some of his actions are what looks to be a “thick side” Highwall, then some that look like a “normal” Highwall action. Any rhyme or reason as to why and when those were produced? Thanks.

That's the first thickside one I've seen. Meacham highwalls are very good. I have a couple of them and they are extremely well made and shoot much like my Shiloh Sharps rifles.

Of all of the highwall reproductions I've owned, the Meachams are the best.
