As I have said before, for me it's the process and the overall journey. The goal of winning matches has pretty much been met, but the journey will continue and the process continues to evolve.

How much would I spend? I don't even want to know. If money was the goal it would still all be in the bank and I can assure you, IT IS NOT!

What would I go through? About 30 years of my life and STILL going. No regrets, a few mistakes, but no regrets. I still enjoy the process which has been greatly aided by the discovery of paper patch bullets!

Give me another 30 years and you can check back to see if I've gotten bored and moved on. It will take all of that and maybe a bit more. I sincerely hope there's a 1000 yard range in heaven and I even more so hope I get to shoot on it some day, the good Lord willing!

There are too many variables for me to find an MOA load & I don't have the time or patience to go through it.
I would, however, pay somebody else good money to find that MOA load.

I need to buy more powder. What are you willing to pay:) Could these be MOA loads?
The problem with some shooters is that they try to use components the rifle just won't shoot good. (powder/bullets)

you can only shoot as good as you can aim.
the obvious solution to this is to use a 15x scope.
however irons can come close if the target suits the sights and the shooter uses corrected vision if necessary.
dirty atmospheric conditions, both visually and wind make it more difficult.
1 group doth not a moa rifle make.

That is not the only group like that produced by that rifle and load, bruce. I have a couple of others that will do the same thing, both with greasers and paper patched bullets. Shoot straight, rdnck.

A sharp eye will notice Rdnck shot the pictured group with KIK FFG powder. KIK black powder, now no longer available, was a real sleeper. Very good and consistent powder at a very reasonable price.

Whatever it takes. The only way I can get my Shiloh to shoot MOA is with Swiss.

you are right bill.
some guys shoot 1 group and stop there, assuming that it happens all the time.
some smokeless guys do the same.
more groups = better statistics.
