Ruminating on an older article claiming there is no such thing as a Silver Bullet while typing here as compared to my individual journey in seeking a better mouse trap in the world of BPCR Bullets.

Over and over again we see writers on this forum extolling the virtues of this bullet or that, this primer or that, this powder or that and in truth their positions are essentially the results of their trials in pursuit of that better mouse trap in relation to their own experience with their rifle. I doubt seriously if all of my best results in my individual rifle will equal all of your best results in your individual rifle. Why? Because I get different results in my individual rifles, and, as pointed out so many times try and try again leads to what is at that point in time the Silver Bullet combination for that particular rifle at any given point in time for a particular application.

Focusing on Money Bullets. Today, 11/26/20, if any one of the many great Bullet Mould makers could produce a Mould that would universally work best in all rifles for all applications it would have been identified and purchased in unimaginable numbers by every BPCR shooter on the Planet. Such has not happened.

Therefore, the best that can be hoped for is to identify what works best for the individual shooter for their individual rifle for a specific application.

Which money bullet works best for Long Range may not work as well in the same rifle at silhouette or even mid-range in a particular rifle. In honesty we should ask ourselves is that a result of the bullet or the ability of the shooter? Hard to say. BUT, a way to arrive at that conclusion is found at the range, on a target, with the individual shooter and their individual rifle
Zack,

I can say that I'm one of those that was always looking for that better mouse trap. Man if I would put all of the moulds I have collected in my life time I would have to use my loader tractor to pick up the box.
If I wouldn't be so hardheaded I would have realized that I had that bullet 66 years ago about this time of year when I ordered my first large bore rifle out of the back pages of the NRA magazine, A $18.00 .43 Spanish roller. Shells were still available here at the local lumberyard of all places and those shells had that bullet design in my .44-77 picture below. Over the years since then I had moulds made that had the original sharps bullet profile and it does not matter if I shoot it from the .40, .44, .45 it shoots well in all of those calibers with a 1/14 ROT to 1/19 and it will reach the 1000 yard iron or paper targets. I think they had that figured out back in the 1800rds.
Yes you might have to screw up the elevation a little at those long ranges but the bullet will do the job even in a good stiff breeze.

I know, it looks impossible in the natural but that is exactly when God delights in proving once again that he really is God! Take heart, this is going to be a great show especially when the fake news starts caterwauling about the upset after counting their chickens before they're hatched!
This is going to be a great show as the enemy over plays his had as usual and gets defeated again. The church once more finds it's back to the Red Sea, the believers tested in their faith as Pharaoh closes in thinking he has us in the bag. Great time for YHWH to show up as he did then and prove who really is running things!
AMEN Mdeland, may it be so.
A wonderful Thanksgiving to all.
