States that it was awarded to the 2009 BPTR winner. Who was that? Find the 2009 winner and ask if they have seen.

Glenn, that trophy does not leave the Whittington Center. It was there when I won it in 2011. The winner gets his name inscribed on it that's all and his picture taken with it. It's a neat trophy, one of the oldest if not THE oldest that I think some of the first Creedmoor shooters shot for in mid 1870's.

I'd like to thank folks for taking the time to reply.
I need to clarify my original post somewhat.
As I understand it there are four trophies that are awarded by the NRA that concern National Black Powder Rifle Championships.

#1 - The Castle Trophy

I read about it's history and those who it was awarded to.

#2 - The North-South Trophy

It looks like this one is for re-enactors shooting period correct military rifles.

#3 The Shaffer Trophy

Awarded for position shooting

And finally, the one I'm interested in

#4 The Arthur C Jackson Trophy

Awarded to the high scoring competitor in the World Black Powder Long Range International Championships, held every four years.

No info on it what so ever
Hopefully it hasn't been turned into cuff links, a punch bowl or a fondue pot.

Like I said, Art was a friend and early mentor.
After he passed, many of his rifles and related gun stuff was offered to club members here in NH.
I was given most of his notebooks and writings concerning Black Powder shooting.
I should make copies of it all and give it to Research Press.
It's interesting reading.

I have to wonder when the last International BPTR competition was held in America or any other country for that matter.

I think back to Sunday mornings and arriving at the club with all my "stuff"
I'd get there early so I could post targets and paint "the ram" we have @ 500 yds.

Often times Art would be there already with friends from various different countries.
They always dressed well.
All of them had spent money to come to the good old USofA to be able to shoot their rifles.
In little old NH.
