northfork have a good reputation, but are now apparently owned by a scandanavian outfit and made of unobtanium.
unfortunately they contain lead, but might be about the optimum expanding bullet.
swift aframes are in the same class.

It took somewhere around 50 rounds to do this and was almost impossible to get it all out. Accuracy never returned to what it was before. I hate them and will not use them. I think they are a product of magazines selling advertising for a product that was created to solve a problem that didn't exist.
Lol , I've allways thought the same on that last sentence. Think I'd put 1/2 dozen of rds loaded with dodah bullets in my pocket and real ones in the gun 500+ grainers that will completely penetrate the game and have at it. The libs and lefties all ways say your not guilty of anything until caught and convicted.

Since the rotometals alloy is legal, it seems to be the best choice. After doing a little checking, using your present mould the bullets will weigh 10% less and for a .45 caliber bullet, increase about .002” in diameter. Since most of us shoot bullets that weigh way more than required to shot through our prey the weight decrease is not a problem. For GG bullets the luber/sizer will take care of the diameter problem. If you are using the BACo patching paper or another 9# paper, changing to a thinner paper paper will likely work. Guys are using this alloy in their patched round ball rifles so the alloy must be bumping up. I learned a long time ago to never rely on a lead bullet to expand at BP velocities so all of my hunting bullets have a generous meplat so expansion for me is a non issue. When I get a chance I think I will try it in my PP mould and see if I need to buy another mould.

The problem I found with a no lead alloy is if the mould is not cut in the exact center you will beat the mould to death getting it to drop from the major side.
I have no idea what Roto uses but if it has bismuth the alloy will swell tight in the mould.
