Digital Weasel & Alterfurz

Post by TexasMac »

I stumbled on some old emails from Ingrid & Jim Ruble (Digital Weasel & Alterfurz respectively). I lost track of them & was wondering if anyone knows how they’re doing or what happened to them? Both were active on the old Shooter’s.com forum which someone mentioned they started & where I started my BPCR education. The subsequently setup & ran the MSN BPCR forum prior to it closing down.

Those two names ring a bell Wayne.
I didn't know they were the founders of Shooters.com however.
Or was it just the BPCR section they started.

Do you remember where they were from?
Shooters was hosted by a company located in Exeter NH if memory serves me correctly.

Craig,

They may have started the BPCR section but I'm not even certain of that - just a note I made in my files long ago. I do know for certain they started and ran the MSN BPCR forum.

Why not just send them an email and see if it lands ?
We thought about it for a long time Endeavor to persevere. And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union. I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet

I sent an email to Ingrid this morning but it bounced back as no good. I thought I had an email for JR but can't find it. Arnie will let me know if he makes contact with them.

Good morning, Folks;

The last time I saw JR, I had lunch with him in Killeen. At the time, he was deep into F class including making his own bullets. I think they were both well. It was just a matter of changing interests. He had retired and gone back to work part time at the same place.

Hopefully, he will see this and give us a "here we are". Good folks.

DW and Alterfurz are alive and well . Still in Copperas Cove,TX
Got a response from JR last night on an email I still had in my contacts.
They are both retired. And no traveling, etc .
Yes, He has been "dabbling" in F Class, building rifles for it, etc
and lately built a forge and is making knives for them

Thanks Arnie. I'm glad they are doing well and enjoying retirement.
