Probably be best to just build it yourself like you did the first time, that way you can make it perfect for your can size and the amount you need/want.

would think a few 1x10's would fit the bill perfectly.

Or maybe Woodys boxes would make you one???

Maybe I'm missing something here but the box it comes in made it safely all the way from Switzerland to Florida over land and sea. What's wrong with just leaving it in that? I then put that box in a wooden box that is 20' X 28' called a garage. Help me to understand the value of a home made wood box over what the manufacturer has provided after passing all the international shipping and storage regulations. Unless it's just more authentic that way. Butter used to come in a wooden 'butter box' 60lbs. at a time dovetailed corners and all. One of those would hold 25lb.

Any reason why the cardboard shipping boxes can’t be used?

That was my question which he chose to ignore. If the powder blew I am very sure that wood box is not going to contain the explosion and instead of having some cardboard flying around he would have heavy wood projectiles and metal fittings. I think I'd rather get hit with the cardboard.

BobW, the answer to your question from an earlier post by Kenny, "BA 6 pounds of regular Swiss 1 1/2 on the way." If he is only buying 6lbs. at a time it also explains why he doesn't have the shipping box. I still don't think that box is going to contain 6 pounds of BP going boom.

Just dont store it in one of those big metal shipping containers. Had guy tell me this weekend that all his BP and ammo went wump when it got real hot last summer. It conained it but there was nothing left.
