Need 44-90 BN brass

Post by channsz »

I need Jamison brass made for Shiloh 44-90 BN 2- 5/8 brass. The brass made for C Sharps has rim thickness of around 0.065 and is to thin but I wouldn't turn-any down if that is my only option. The brass made for Shiloh has rim thickness of around 0.075 and is what I would prefer. I will take any amount of 5-10 cases but need about 50 more for BPTR Creedmoore.

Does need to be Jamison?

You could order brass from BACO or have some made from RMC: https://www.rockymountaincartridge.com/products.htm

The BACO stuff is from stretched 348 Win and yes I can go this route or RMC or the outfit in Amarillo but case volume differences would probably create accuracy differences unless I used that set for 1 target only. Hoping to find some shooters of the 44-90 BN case who can turn loose of a few cases. I've been told that 43 Basic is the parent case for all of the early 44 calibers but 43 basic will be harder to find than hens teeth. The Jamison brass for Shiloh is nearly identical to the original cases.
