BPCP cast bullet suppliers

Post by TexasMac »

Now & then I get questions from new BPCR shooters that are not yet casting, at least not for BPCR bullets, and are looking for a supplier. I usually suggest they contact BACO who has a pretty good selection using 20:1 alloy & SPG lube. Recently I ran across another supplier that I was not aware of but apparently has been around for a while: Chey-Cast Bullets as in Cheyenne, WY where they’re located. Chey-Cast uses 20:1 alloy & in-house made black powder lube. And Montana Precision Swaging produces 20:1 cast bullets using SPG Lube which are sold through MidwayUSA.

I’m also aware that Montana Bullets Works supplies cast bullets with SPG lube as an option. But the bullets are cast with antimony, resulting in a harder bullet (BHN around 15). Big Sky Bullets closed some time ago & I believe The Bull Shop is also closed.

So, besides BACO, Chey-Cast and Montana Precision Swaging / MidwayUSA, are there other suppliers of BPCR cast bullets?

Andre,

I used https://bullshop.weebly.com/ which brings up their website but some of links in their website do not work - no contact information, no way to order that I can see, and other info is missing. I did send them an email but no response so far. Do you have a better link or a way to contact them?
Thanks.

In my opening post I noted that Montana Precision Swaging produces 20:1 cast bullets using SPG Lube which are sold through MidwayUSA.

Based on their name alone that obviously was an error as their bullets are swaged, not cast.

Use the "MORE" tab for bullet info. No online ordering, send him an email with what you want. He replies with the total charges and shipping. No credit cards. Money orders or check only

Andre,
Thanks. In that case he should eventually respond to my email.

The Bull Shop responded to my email this morning. As Andre noted he indicated I should email him my needs.

I'm sure most casters are behind keeping up with pistol bullet supplies.

No experience with, but have you tried these?

John,

All of those are hard cast bullets suppliers, not the softer cast (typically 20:1) bullets required for BPCR, and not with black powder lube. There are many suppliers of hard cast bullets but relatively few offer bullets for BPCR.
