Lone Star

Post by Kaiser » Tue Jun 01, 2021 5:15 pm

Sorry if this is not appropriate for this forum, but I need to find a Gunsmith who will work on my Lone Star Rolling Block. {I also shoot a Sharps.} I need to have trigger work done. I'm getting creep that wasn't there before. I'll be in Montana in August and was wondering if John King still is in business or another who works on Rollers.

While you are in WY and if you are near Cody, you can probably take it in to George Dillman's group at Wyoming Armory. I don't think rollers are their specialty, but they may be able to fix the trigger for you. Call ahead. If you are near Oklahoma, contact Mike Bassett. Mike's specialty is Rollers and Ballards. Mike is in the process of moving in to a new location and should be up & running again very soon.

You may give Shon Eychaner a call. He is in St. Joseph, MO. Protege of Ron Long. He has built me four rollers, three Ballards and two Sharps. Excellent work and fair prices. 816-383-9108.
