I just wanted to point out that 14 year old Cole Sauer was the winner of the 22 BPCRA National Championship scope match this past week. Not the junior champion, but THE national champion! Wow! He was shooting an original Stevens 44 with a Shilen barrel and a DZ scope. Cole has worked really hard to improve his shooting and I think this news is truly monumental. Anyway, a giant congratulations to Cole and hopefully we will continue to see him on the ranges.

Re: Cole Sauer
How great is that a young shooter and as nice of a family as the Sauers are rising to these levels
Way to go

Exactly and well said Don, they are a very nice family, and very polite young men.Don McDowell wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 9:31 am How great is that a young shooter and as nice of a family as the Sauers are rising to these levels

Always a pleasure to shoot with them, when I visit SmithMoor.

There was a "little older" guy that did well in the Iron Sights too!
